The quote-form checklist for pressure washing

Use this to check your own quote form and page. Tick a box only when the test next to it is true on your site today, looked at on a phone.

Part 1: what the homeowner sends you

  • What needs washing, as tap boxes
You've got it if a homeowner can pick house, roof, driveway, deck, gutters or windows without typing.
  • ZIP code or address
You've got it if you can tell from the request alone whether the job is inside your drive limit.
  • Number of stories
You've got it if the form asks one, two, or three and up before it asks for contact details.
  • House size or square footage, optional
You've got it if someone who doesn't know their square footage can still finish the form.
  • A photo of the front of the house from the street
You've got it if the upload label asks for that shot by name.
  • A photo of the driveway from the street end
You've got it if you can judge the length and the worst staining without driving out.
  • A close photo of the worst spot
You've got it if you can tell mildew from rust or oil before you quote.
  • Access notes
You've got it if there's an optional box where people mention gate codes, dogs, water spigots or tight side yards.
  • HOA deadline
You've got it if a homeowner with an HOA letter has somewhere to tell you the date.
  • Preferred days
You've got it if they can say "weekdays only" or "before the 15th" without picking a fixed time slot.
  • A mobile number you can text
You've got it if the form says you'll reply by text and email is only the fallback.

Part 2: the 10 things the page should say around the form

  • What you wash and where
You've got it if the headline near the form names your main service and your town.
  • How you price
You've got it if one line says what the price depends on (size, stories, surfaces), with starting prices if you post them.
  • How fast you reply
You've got it if it states a reply time you can keep in your busiest week.
  • No obligation
You've got it if it says nobody shows up unless they book.
  • What happens after they hit send
You've got it if a homeowner can tell who will contact them and how.
  • How to take the photos
You've got it if someone who has never sent a quote photo knows which three to take.
  • Insured, only if you are
You've got it if the line is there and you can send the certificate the same day an HOA asks.
  • The towns you serve
You've got it if someone forty minutes out can see you don't go there before filling anything in.
  • Call and Text buttons
You've got it if both are one tap away from the form on a phone screen.
  • What you do with their number
You've got it if one line says it's used only to reply about the quote.

Quick test: hand your phone to someone who has never seen your site and time them filling out the form. If they stop to ask you a question, that question belongs on the page.
